Ingredients
- 12 oz spaghetti
- 1 lb sirloin or ribeye, thinly sliced
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Garlic powder
- Smoked paprika
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ¾–1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- Parsley
- Extra Parmesan
- Red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Boil the spaghetti in salted water until al dente, then drain while reserving 1/4 cup of the pasta water.
- Coat the sliced steak with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
- Sear the seasoned steak in olive oil over medium-high heat for 2 to 4 minutes until browned, then remove from the pan.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic until it becomes fragrant.
- Stir in the heavy cream and let it simmer for a few minutes, then add the Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce is smooth.
- Incorporate the spinach into the sauce and cook until it has wilted.
- Combine the steak and spaghetti in the skillet, tossing everything together and adding the reserved pasta water as needed to achieve a silky consistency.
- Garnish with parsley, extra Parmesan, and red pepper flakes before serving.
Optional additions include mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, broccoli, or asparagus.
