Reel Meals (“the service”, “we”) turns recipe posts into structured meal plans and grocery lists. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
Sign-in is by email link — there is no password. You're responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, since anyone who controls your inbox can sign in as you. One account per person; we may close accounts that abuse the service (scraping floods, spam recipes, attempts to access other users' private data).
Recipes imported from public social-media posts are reduced to functional facts: an ingredient list and neutrally-reworded preparation steps, with nutritional figures as claimed by the original creator. Every imported recipe links back to its original post and creator. We don't host or republish creators' videos, photos, or written expression.
Recipes you add manually are private by default. If you choose to publish a recipe to the shared pool, you grant us the right to display it publicly — including on crawlable recipe pages and to signed-out visitors — and grant other users the right to view it, plan with it, and clone it into their own collection. You confirm you have the right to share what you publish.
If you believe content available through the service infringes your rights, email support@reelmealsapp.com with the specific recipe link and the basis of your claim. We review promptly and remove content where appropriate.
The core service is free. A paid supporter tier (when available) adds AI-assisted recipe cleanup and other conveniences, billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel any time via the billing portal; cancellation stops future charges and your supporter features continue until the end of the paid period. We don't offer partial-month refunds.
Recipes, macro figures, and nutritional information are user- and creator-supplied and are not verified by us. Nothing in the service is medical, dietary, or health advice. Check ingredients yourself if you have allergies or dietary requirements.
The service is provided as-is, without warranty. We work to keep it fast, accurate, and available, but we're a small operation and don't guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free parsing. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
We may update these terms; material changes will be flagged in the app and continued use after that is acceptance. You can stop using the service at any time and can ask us to delete your account and data (see the privacy policy).
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia, Canada.
