Short version: we store your email address and your recipes and meal plans. We don't have your password (none exists), we never see your card number, and there are no ads, trackers, or analytics. We can't lose what we don't collect.
One essential cookie keeps you signed in. That's the whole list. Your device also keeps small local preferences (like your current meal selection and shopping check-offs) in your browser's own storage; they never leave your device except as part of saved plans.
Recipes you publish to the shared pool are visible to all users, credited to nobody. Recipes and plans you keep private are visible only to you — and to your household members if you join a household, which is the point of households. Leaving a household ends that visibility both ways.
You can delete your account yourself at any time: Account → Danger zone → Delete my account. Deletion removes your account, private recipes, and plans, and cancels any active subscription; recipes you published to the shared pool stay in the pool (they carry no personal information). For a copy of your data, or anything else, email support@reelmealsapp.com.
If this policy changes materially, we'll flag it in the app.
