Ingredients
- 1 cup Bob’s Red Mill 1:1 Baking Flour
- 8 oz (½ lb) 96/4 Lean Ground Beef
- 1 cup Fat Free Cheddar Cheese
- ½ cup 2% Cottage Cheese
- 2 Large Eggs
- ¾ cup Fat Free Milk
- ⅓ cup Sugar Free Maple Syrup
- 1 tbsp Baking Powder
- Salt & Pepper
- Salt & Pepper
- 20 to 25g sugar free maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Cook the ground beef and season it with salt, pepper, and approximately 22.5g of sugar-free maple syrup.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef with the flour, cheddar cheese, cottage cheese, eggs, milk, remaining maple syrup, baking powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix the ingredients until they are thoroughly combined.
- Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper and pour the mixture into the dish, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 35 to 45 minutes.
- Allow the mixture to cool slightly after removing it from the oven, then slice into 6 portions.
To reheat from the fridge, microwave for 1 minute. To reheat from frozen, microwave for 2 minutes and then add time as necessary.
