Ingredients
- 1½ lbs lean ground beef
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes
- 20 jumbo pasta shells
- 1½ cups heavy cream
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella, divided
Instructions
- Boil the jumbo pasta shells until they are al dente, then drain and let them cool slightly.
- Melt butter in a large skillet and sauté the minced garlic until it becomes fragrant.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, then drain any excess fat.
- Mix in the garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes.
- Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream, softened cream cheese, and 1 cup of the mozzarella until the mixture is smooth.
- Stuff the beef mixture into the cooked pasta shells and place them in a greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese over the top.
- Bake at 350°F for 20 to 25 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Variations: You can mix cheddar with the mozzarella, add chopped spinach to the beef, or use ground turkey instead.
