Ingredients
- 2 lbs 96/4 Lean Ground Beef (907g)
- 14.5 oz Barilla Protein+ Pasta (411g)
- 4 oz Reduced-Fat Cream Cheese (113g)
- 2 Cups Reduced-Fat Cheddar Cheese, shredded (224g)
- 1/2 Cup Skim Milk (120mL)
- 1 Medium Yellow Onion, diced (150g)
- 1 Green Bell Pepper, diced (150g)
- 2 Tbsp Yellow Mustard
- 2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 2 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
Instructions
- Prepare the protein pasta by following the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- Dice the onion and green bell pepper.
- Brown the ground beef in a large skillet, breaking it into pieces.
- Add the diced onion, bell pepper, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Cook until the beef is cooked through and the vegetables are soft.
- Lower the heat and stir in the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, and skim milk until the mixture is smooth.
- Incorporate the cooked pasta into the skillet and stir until it is thoroughly coated.
- Divide the mixture into 7 portions, approximately 2.25 cups each.
Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or freeze. When reheating, add a splash of milk if necessary.
